I developed the new copy for the improved Flight Booking Form to provide clearer information to users, in every use-case scenario.

About the Project

When booking a flight ticket on Traveloka, users need to fill in their details (e.g. name, date of birth, passport number) in the Booking Form. In addition, users can also purchase additional flight services and facilities (add-ons), such as additional baggage allowance or to select their seats.

While the existing Booking Form did not have any negative impact on the conversion, it was no longer able to cater to the fast growth and expansion of the product. For example, we were planning to add more flight add-ons to answer more user needs, but the current Booking Form was not really designed for scalability.

In summary, this project aims to:

  1. Improve the usability and functionality of the existing Booking Form–with consideration for scalability

  2. Provide clearer information structure in the Booking Form (clearer grouping, mandatory vs optional)

  3. Standardize and increase the visibility of flight add-ons
