I utilized simple loading pages as an opportunity to bring delight or assurance to users.
About the Project
During interactions with our product, users will encounter quite numerous loading pages. Since this is inevitable, I looked for ways we can utilize these pages to be more meaningful to our users–with minimum development effort.

The Solution
Scrap the generic copy and make more personalized ones, to serve both the product and our users. Here are examples of the solution:
Meal Selection in Flight Booking
Loading pages appear when users are being directed to the meal selection page, where they would be able to select what meals they want to order. Since the loading time is very short, we could not put too much information there. So, we decided just to put short playful–yet contextual–messages to bring little delights to our users.
Bus & Shuttle Tickets
Loading pages appear when users are being directed to the bus details page. Here, users can find all the information about the bus ticket they are about to buy (e.g. bus facilities, route). This is also where users decide whether they want to buy the ticket or not on our platform. Therefore, we decided to utilize the loading pages to give assurance to users by tackling known doubts.
